Jean Sibelius (1865–1957) is Finland’s national composer and the most internationally renowned Finnish composer.
In addition to his seven symphonies, his most famous works include the Violin Concerto and orchestral pieces such as Finlandia, the Karelia Suite, Tuonelan joutsen, and Valse triste.
