Clock Tower Time Travel – Guided Tour

The Clock Tower Time Travel experience takes you on a fascinating journey through the tower’s history, stories and architecture, all the way to the observation deck.

Guided Historical Tour of the Clock Tower

Climb the iconic Clock Tower of Helsinki Central Railway Station on a guided tour. One hour of history, architecture and fascinating stories culminates in breathtaking views over central Helsinki. (€1.50 booking fee applies.)

Rising above Helsinki for more than a century, the Clock Tower is one of the city's most recognisable landmarks – and for most of its history, it has remained closed to the public. The Clock Tower Time Travel experience gives you the opportunity to discover it from the inside.

During this one-hour guided tour, you will hear the story of the Clock Tower and Helsinki Central Railway Station, learn about Eliel Saarinen's architecture, and discover the tower's role in Helsinki's cityscape. The tour culminates in a climb to the observation deck, offering spectacular views across the rooftops of central Helsinki.

At the end of the tour, your guide will escort the group to one of Kellotorni's atmospheric spaces, where you are welcome to continue your visit with a drink. With your tour ticket, you will receive 20% off regularly priced drinks at the brewery before and after the tour on the same day.

Buy your tickets in advance to secure your place – each departure has a limited number of participants. Tickets are also available on site.
