The Eliel Cabinet

The Kellotorni event venue complex also includes the Eliel Cabinet, an intimate space for up to 16 guests. It is the first of Kellotorni’s cabinets to be completed and is named after architect Eliel Saarinen, whose distinctive touch can be seen throughout Helsinki Central Railway Station.

At the heart of the cabinet stands a table designed by Saarinen in the late 19th century. Gathering around it creates a unique connection to the history of Finnish architecture. Adding to the atmosphere is a distinguished detail — a restored light fixture that once illuminated the office of the station’s former chief.

The Eliel Cabinet is designed for intimate celebrations, meetings and dinners. It combines historical elegance with modern comfort, offering guests an atmosphere where Finnish design, architecture and the long history of the railway station intertwine.
